I have never had a bad Gigabyte board. and dont get me started infel(intel)
Doing this professionally for the past 8 years or so Intel has the best support channels, they are the only ones that will preship a new board based on a bad one that was bad out of the box, cross shipping, same with the processors, guess I gotta get some bennies for spending $1K+ a year for those training seminars....

Kinda like Sun, the systems I have platinum support on are awsome, one call and the parts are shipped by courier out of a warehouse in philly, usually arrive in 45 min to 1 hour later, most times the Sun service tech beats them, sometimes not but they are usually within 30 min of each other, in the end you get what you pay for.
One off specialty machines I buy parts from newegg, sometimes colored cases from tiger, depends, their policy, newegg, is also good but I probably spend about $20K a year on stuff from them. Tiger can be a PIA.
I also do read warranties, when I back a system for 3 years parts and labor I buy retail with a warranty to match even if it costs extra and I REQUIRE an external UPS sized for every system but thats just me..
