I'm working on a 99 Chevy Blazer with a 4L60-E transmission and the 233C transfer case. After changing the 3-2 shift solenoid I checked the transfer case fluid. I expected it to be low... but no, about a quart can out the fill hole. So transmission fluid is making its way to the transfer case. I guess that explains why the transmission was so low on fluid.
Anyhow, I tried to Google my way to an answer on what seals need to be replaced. I found that I need to replace the transfer case input seal, obviously. However I couldn't find a mention of any seal on the transmission to replace. Is the transmission's transfer case adapter sealed to the transfer case itself? If so, what is the seal caller/part number if possible? If not what else needs to be sealed on the transmission?
