im thinking that it would be nice to have a d30 with 3.55 gears to match my rear axle so i can still drive this summer...
right now i have a ford 9 with 3.50 gears in the back, and a d30 with 3.07's in the front - need a housing to swap to.
all i need is the housing - my brakes, bearings, shafts, u-joints, and all that are stil perfect, but i dont want to sink any money into the d30 when i have a d44 sitting in the garage with one knuckle cut off of it...
I plan on having the d44 in by the end of summer, but want to be able to wheel in the meantime...
I also would like to be able to cut the brackets off my current d30 and still have something to measure from... (i want to re-use the coil buckets)

I live in Benicia, but am willing to drive just about anywhere in nor*cal for this one...
