Need a clasic/vintage show car next weekend.

Rick, I'd love to help you but it would take me a week and ten days to get there and back with my gearing.

That's the truth! Aww, just put some 35's on it that will help those granny gears :doh:. Better yet, throw that 3 speed in there! How's "Old Red" coming along, anyway? Been meaning to stop by and check on your progress.

She is runnin', no exhaust leak (new all the way back), hood back together (need to align), dual diaphram master and new lines, wide whites, new floor matting... Need to adjust the valves, rebuild a carb and put on the orig tail lights (and clean up some of that Xmas lighting). Even the paint is getting a little rub, but keeping the patina.

She is coming right along, yessir!

:roflmao::roflmao:

Sure.. I'll make you a deal... You drive up and wash it, and I'll drive you to In-N-Out and buy you a Double Double. ;) I love taking it to that place. It feels kind of nostalgic.

btw - I have no idea what happened to the last set of tow hooks you sold me. :dunno: I want to say that they were put on a train coming up here.. but.. :dunno:

So, when do you want to wash the '55?? :D

E

Ha ha.:anon:

With more notice I could have cleaned up my ford and brought it out, but its gonna need 2 or 3 days of good washing to get the paint clean right now ;)

Been a long time since I showed it.
