I need bolts for my 95 4.0 oil pan.I dropped the pan and lost some bolts.Nevermind not labeling where each one came from so it leaked when i put it back.So if anyone knows where I could find a bolt kit or if anyone has somthing that is being parted and they could take the bolts out and draw me a map or somthing where each one goes that would be awesome.I'd of course pay good for this.Thanks.

The small screws are 1/4"-20 x 3/4", and the four large corner ones are 5/16"-18 x 3/4". You should be able to get them at pretty much any hardware store, but I'd get stainless, brass, or bronze, due to the environment they're in.

If you check my website, you'll start seeing torque tables appearing there (BTW - torque 1/4"-20 to 7 pound-feet/84 pound-inches, and 5/16"-18 to 11 pound-feet/132 pound-inches!) with sizes listed for known bolts. I'm stsill coding pages, so it might be a bit, but I'm hoping it will come in handy in cases like this...

nice.thanks.now that i know the sizes i think milodon had stud kits i can buy.might work better.thanks for the torque settings too.

Milodon may not have 5/16" studs, but pretty much ANY speed house should have 1/4"-20 studs - since that's the size for SBChevvy valve covers!

Using about six studs will make installing the pan easier - too many, and you'll end up getting in your own way. Also, use the later oil sump gasket (199 and up, should be,) since it's one-piece moulded rubber - which saves a LOT of wrestling!

Torque the studs to the same spec as screws (7 pound-feet/84 pound-inches) when you put nuts on them, and you can just bottom them in the holes.
