I was at PnP SJ South today looking for a cruise control servo. Came across a 97 Grand Chero with what looked like a nearly new 4.0L engine. Black paint hardly dirty. Freeze plugs all shiny. Looks like a new or reman install just before a bad day that sent the Jeep to the yard.
Most stuff is already disconnected and tranny is gone. An easy pull at this point.
One thing to look carefully at, something went through the radiator and also the aluminum timing chain cover. Check for sprocket and chain damage (or deeper damage).
Just passing on a find for the good of the order.
