Nature's Miracle

A little back story... Sunday evening around 11pm my little pit bull, Dana and her boyfriend (pit/lab mix), Shadow had their curiosity get the best of them when a skunk didn't want to put up with their noses in it's personal space any more... Dana got it right in the eye, and shadow took a pretty good spray to the chest/side. We scrubbed them that night on the deck right away with soap, vinegar and baking soda, non of which worked. We had just given up and had planned to leave them in the garage/back yard until they no longer smelled so bad.

Well, this afternoon I bought some soap from PetSmart called Natures Miracle, and let me tell you, this shit works! I scrubbed Dana with it first and it not only took off all the typical dirt, but you could also see the yellow skunk oil coming off, too. Still need/s some facial whore baths with the stuff, but it took away enough of the smell that she can now be in the house again! :sunshine:

So, if yours or any other pets you know have had a run in with a skunk, I highly recommend this soap. It is also safe and works fantastic on people, furniture, carpet, ect. :)

Anywho, just thought I'd share my experience.

very good to know! my pittie got skunked one day but the soap vinegar soda wash did wonders for him and his coat... our other one coincidently a pit/lab as well is bound to get it soon so ill keep this stuff in mind...

Nature's miracle is amazing.

Initially, I thought it was about the stuff 'ol Jim takes to stay regular........ :dunno:

On the farm we used tomato soup.

For facials on whores?

I knew there couldn't possibly be 9 posts about dog soap in this chapter. :roflmao:

This stuff is great for cleaning up after pets:
