Well guys, I didn't print the coupon before today, and Napa has changed the sale to only the Left Coast states.

Who runs their marketing program? Great big FUBAR. Guess the
average Joe would never have caught this, but I'm disappointed.

I'll buy Wix from O'Reilly's.

Not sure what the deal with the sale you're referencing is but the cheapest I've found Wix filters is on RockAuto. Cheaper than O'Reilly's by a couple bucks per filter even after shipping costs.

Edit: just saw the other thread. Sucks that they changed it.

I printed the original NAPA coupon (from "the other thread") last night. I took it to the local (upstate NY) NAPA. They scanned the bar code on the coupon and nothing came up. He called his boss and they did not know what to do. He took my cell phone number and said he would call when he found out. Two hours later he called. He said his boss just told him to force the 70% discount through. I got four 350 Chevy truck filters (1061) for $2.2470 each. I guess it does not hurt to give them the coupon and watch them squirm. It worked for me.

Tried to see if I could find a cached version of the original coupon, no luck though. Found the page without the specific states listed, but when I went to download or print, it was the current version. Also tried some google-fu based on the image but no-luck there either.

Oh well, still a good deal for those in the right states or who got the earlier version.

I printed the coupon (without restrictions) Friday morning and picked up 4 #1085 filters for $16.12 tax included. The lady at the counter was baffled when I gave her the coupon, the manager looked at it, gave her the okay and calculated the cost. Thanks for your help!

I tried at my local franchise and they gave me a coupon for July 8th through the 13th for a similar deal. The manager said that the coupon I printed simply wouldn't wok anywhere that wasn't a corporate store because of how the franchises are rebated for the cost of the promotion. He also said it was most likely promoted to help the regions with corporate stores reach their filter sales quotas before the end of the fiscal year on Sunday. Oh well...
