just trying to get the ball rolling here, thinkin of somthin in SW CT or in NY State, just not to close to the city, i figure it would be a halfway btween the PA and Jersey Crew and the New England crew, im thinkin Mid December or Early January. What is everyones thoughts on this?

We could have a "help Mambeu put in a new engine" party at my house; I'm pretty central. :D

Seriously, that sounds like a great idea, especially if we can get people from all over the chapter there. What kind of meet-and-greet are you thinking of? Any wheeling, or just putting faces to names and maybe discussing some chapter business?

well my junk aint gonna be finished till spring, i just figure to meet up at some restraunt or somthin, just hang out talk have fun

How about something at Dave & Buster's at the Palisade's Mall in West Nyack, NY?

Let's keep it on topic. There are plenty of Rob bashing threads, on every bulletin board he visits.

How about something on a Saturday in January? The 6th or the 13th maybe?
i was thinkin sometime in Jan, how does everyone feel about that? what does everyone think about the place the installer mentioned?

Mid-December would be a little tough for me (my class and it's giant research paper are concluding around the 15th), but a January weekend I could probably swing..

An indoor thing might be better that time of year, unless Matt's got a big heated garage for us to hang out in.

If I'm free I'll try to be there. January sounds good to me.

Something indoors would probably be prefered by most people, so either a good eatery, garage, or both. I've seen some other clubs that set up little how-to sessions like the basics of welding, how to set gears, etc. Maybe if a large enough shop is offered up something like this could happen and give people more of a reason to stop by?

Late December or very early January works for me as well.

Not to sound not interested or crude but, West Nyack, NY is about a 220mile (one way) trip for me. So, there would deffinatly have to be a good interest in this before I drive ~450miles. What other places are around?

agreed... but thats one of the drawbacks of such a large geographic area.

if i have the time and it sounds like a good time i'll be there.

If we get a more New England response, I am game for anything between CT and VT. That way I can always stay at my place in Southern VT if I have to.
