ok, so I've got the wife's toyota all torn apart.
It's getting new pads and rotrs up front.
Caliper and torque plate came off just fine, but I can't get the damned rotor off.
Any ideas?
I don't have a torch, although I wish I did. It's seized to the bearing assembly.
So far I've soaked it at every crack with PB. Shot PB into the stud holes and been whacking the hell out of it with a sledgehammer. I've tapped the studs, the face of the bearing assembly the rotor and been wailing on the back of the rotor to try and get it off. I was considering using my bottle jack between the frame and the rotor in an attempt to pop it off. Any more ideas? Is using the bottle jack a recipe for disaster?
