That thing must be frikin loud, get some fishtails. who did the rigid frame?? get a springer or girder front end and youd be stylin, hell ,I just gave away a 21 " front off my wide glide.id have donated it to ya. Looks cool.

its not too loud...has a nice sound for a 4 cylinder...i might make a new exhaust during the winter, along with a jocky shift and foot clutch...i made the rigid frame using some parts of the 550 frame....i have a 70 cb450 that i might start on during the winter also...might go the cafe route with that one...

Please, that bike's an absolute classic! Restore it and sell it if you don't want it. Those bikes are worth a pretty penny up here...

Heres mine.. It did look like this

CB750C2.jpg

Here was the build, after I stripped it down and sandblasted it.. Ive painted it, reshaped a few things and Im building a new seat pan and seat, (using hi-dense foam from sport bikes) , Ive also gotten a new different fender to go on the rear, Im not putting one on the front.. Ive also put drag bars on it, 4 pipes, no mufflers.. Lwerd the rear 2 inches also, Im looking to add air ride suspension in the future... Here is an old pic from when I was building it... I will have to snap new ones..... BTW Its a 80' CB750C DOHC with 900 cams in it, and pods.. Ive also molded the stop light and the turn signals into the fender, (low profile)

It's not a CB450, McQueen's on a 305 Dream (IIRC).

The CB450 was the DOHC twin, that later grew to a CB550. It was a little unique because it used torsion bars for valve springs. My grandfathers 450 was the first 4-stroke I took over 100 mph (I rode many 2-strokes faster and earlier).

I like the naked bike customs. Nice work on the little bike. Is it a 500 or 550, because the cam covers were different (CRS)? These were the canyon racers of the 70's. I went through a lot of bikes in the early 80's and always wanted a 550.

The CB750 project photos have me wondering if I should chop the CB900C sitting in my garage. Too many projects ...

Memory of those days is a little hazy, but I don't think it's the Dream, which was the model with the stamped steel frame and styling the same as the step-through models. I think it's a Hawk or a Super Hawk.
