I posted this a while back. But the post is long gone I guess.
Selling my old buggy. I had hopes of putting it back together, but I dont see that happening before I build another buggy for myself, and I don't need three...
There are a few parts of a 95 xj left to it. 4.0/ ax-15. It has a 3 link front, 4 link rear with all johnny joints. Tow woods driveshafts with flanges on the dana 60s. Front and rear steering.
Basically I stole some parts from it to build my new one. So here is what it would need to be running/ wheeling again.
shocks,Rear steer ram, rear steer valve (or weld tie rods to axle to forget about rear steer) Orbital, transfer case(had a atlas or a 231 before that), tires and wheels, fuel pump. The axles are taken apart. They have 5.38 gears with no carriers (I have open carriers if you would like them) All 35 spline. Front shafts have Yukon super joints and are yukon cromoly shafts. Except the longside inner which I broke and replaced with a stock shaft. I have all the outer parts for the axles.
The buggy has all stainless braided lines front to back, brake, steering, fuel. RCI fuel cell, Rear radiator, aftermarket seats with 5 point harnesses, steering filter and cooler, Front 2.5 psc double ended ram, rear cutting brakes and front line locks, I have all 4 tie rods with 8 hiems,
The cage is very strong. It has been tested many times... I am sure there is a ton of stuff that I am missing that it both has and needs. Don't bother asking me for pictures unless you are very interested as it is stuck in the corner of my garage under a ton of parts. Look on youtube under IPKYSS for a 100 videos of it from when it was complete. It needs some stuff, but it can all be bolted back on without having to fab or weld anything. Looking for $4,000 call me for more detailed questions. Sean 413 315 1502
If anyone is serious. Talk to me and I'm sure we can make something work. I am tired of it taking up room in my garage.
Here is a video of it. There are many more if you look on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OI1MQZ09g4Q
