My Jeep has no structure.

I'm tired of Opie talking bad about my Jeep just because he can feel the unibody flexing. Although, I am entertained by people who say they can see the roof move.

Sometime, I want to drive out to someone's house and put a rollbar or maybe even a very minimal cage into my Jeep. I work very slowly when I work on my own junk and I wear dirty clothes. I don't really have fabrication tools of my own so I'll need to borrow a Sawzall and a grinder and a welder. If I don't finish my project before I have to leave, I'll let you finish it and test drive it for me.

But I'll let you cut away part of my Jeep and if you have any ideas of things that might work or be cool, I'll try them.

:)

Check your PM's. I'm sure your PM box is full already. :D

Phil, are you sure you won't be missing out on all that extra apparent suspension flex you have? I mean, I thought it was pretty sexy the way your rig kind "flows" through obstacles. :D

Ill help make sure this doesnt happen.

and park an un-cut, mostly straight 2door nearby to make measurements of where 'stock' junk used to be on Phil's rig...

I dont know if your interested, but a guy this weekend came up to me and told me he had a roll cage for sale. I think he said $300, i havnt seen it so i cant really tell you if its worth it.

Phil, when are you thinking?
Do you have the DOM?
I would love to hook you up, I put my cage in one day (it was a POS) but it could be a good start. I also have to hook up the Farid on a cage, maybe get both going on the same day?

For me it must be after the hammers, too much stuff to do on my junk before that!

You guys could use my 2 door to take measurements, although, Im not really there so that might be kind of dificult.

I say you just chop the top, and dont worry about the cage. It wont fold.:wierd:

Just get an XJGuy cage and bolt it up. Mad heavy duty, yo.
