Well I picked up a new DD not too long ago, its a 96, Country edition. This is my 2nd country model, 3rd XJ..Its a pretty clean rig, bought it off a guy that kept it at his lake home in the garage, owned it for 5 years and only put 20k miles on it! I haven't done much to it yet, added a CB, rear shackle in the hitch, and of course a few stickers, lol. Its got some nice Dueler A/T's on it, but they are only 225's...pretty small. There are a few dings and dents...4.0/AW4/231...runs great and I got it for a pretty damn good price. Anyway here are some pics.

Im planning on adding a 2" BB, switching out those ugly ass honeycomb wheels and possibly putting some 31s on it, and adding some nice bumpers...Just a nice driver that doesn't look like a grocery getter..

Nothing wrong with honeycombs! But it is clean.

I got a thing for the "Country Edition" XJ's, I have a 94 and 2 96's. Thats a nice one you have, I do believe the grill and bezels have been changed though. They should be either chrome or body color.

Yeah mine has the woodgrain and so did my old 95.

XJtrailrider- You're right about the grille and bezels, I had some extras laying around and threw them on, they are flatblack. My old 95 was flatblack and the other one in the background is flatblack as well

BMX- thats my 95 project XJ, im currently trying to get rid of it due to heading off to school in January, I can't leave it sitting in the drive..

I've taken it wheeling a bit, nothing major, just some hillclimbs and some light trench/v-notches, I just don't want to take it out without good protection.

Thanks for the comments..

Here are a couple pics I took today. Its changed quite a bit from since I got it. Goin to pick up some 31s this coming Thursday so she should be looking better after that. The fender isnt cut crooked, Im having a hard time getting the door edge trim to stick

Damn Mark you've been busy on her huh? Mine should be on some 31's in the next couple months!

Looks like a roller skate! Of course, mine looked like that for a month or so too! Lol...

Looks a heck of a lot better than the Jeep I followed over the mountains and through the woods (and the creek) at Winterfest Mark, and I'm sure it would show mine up even more now. Looking great man, I like!

Hey thanks guys..and yeah it does look like a roller skate lol. I havent got my tires yet, but we have some plans in store for this XJ if things come together right..
