I know the bolt spacing is correct but I haven't tried them on my XJ. I don't think the backspacing will be a problem 'cause the rims are big enough to easily clear the brake calipers.

I researched more, the wheel bore on XJ is 71.8 and the the mustang is 70.3 so I bailed on this idea, for now

I'm running mustang cobra knockoffs that are 17x9" with 73.1mm bore. I bought the plastic 73.1-71.5mm ring adapters. I forget the et.
