I'm going to be in Boone NC Wednesday (18th)-Saturday (21st). Anyone interested in a day trip to Callalantee in Mountain City TN? Wed. morning and Sat. morning I will be busy, but I'm open any other time. This is last minute but I would like to get some trail time in.

Darn it! I really want to go up there sometime, but I just got back from a long trip and I can't get away this weekend. It's on the way to my mom's so I am taunted every time I have to drive by...

Armor All is worth the trip, that is one fun trail! I enjoyed Welder as well but had to bypass the waterfall.

I went with Hadfield 3 weeks ago.

I followed Ben in his buggy through armor-all and stayed stride for stride until my Heep overheated and shut-off on the big ass log. I got it fired and over the log then turned mid trail and went out and up the second pop-out, that pop-out is knaaarleee! It was raining hard and the rocks were just too slick for me so I called it a day after armor-all, Ben was getting a little wet as well so he loaded up and booked.

Sorry Glenn, no pictures this time... My brother was too lazy to get out and take some. When it's just (2) of us we typically don't stop and watch each other we just keep riding... well until someone runs out of gas at Top of the World hung on a 6 foot ledge.. :confused1 should have taken some pictures of that.

Yea really. I still have not made it up there. Hell I don't even know where it is or what it looks like.
