I got 18.9 last week on a 130 mile trip. 2 lane mostly hilly windy roads.

Lately I've been getting about 15-16 mpg, but the temp here's been below freezing and its mostly city driving.

Let me know if you find a way to increase this. Taking the bus isn't an option here when you work nights and get off work at 1:30am.

the Mj gets about 21 on the highway, 18 around town. 5 Sp, shifting when the light tells me too, driving like grandpa

I have a 93 XJ 4.0 AW4 that is stock. I get between 13-15 around town, and between 16-18 freeway. I think that I would get better if I didn't drive with such a heavy foot.
