Moving to the area...

My family and I will be moving to the Gatesville area in a couple of months. Will be looking to meet up with others after we get moved and hopefully find work not too long after we get there. Let me know if there is anyone in the area.

Hey Craig, let me give you an early welcoming to the RRC and the best state in the Union, TEXAS! Greenville is only about 30 minutes away from a lot of us like myself, Alex (sparty), Brian (bwildered), Ed (crusher16), and just a little more time to some more members. Typically we go to Bridgeport to wheel (straight down 380 about 1 1/2 hours from Greenville), but Barnwell will be closer to you, although we've had some problems with them. Either way, welcome to the RRC! Good group of guys here, and LOTS of knowledge, good times, and friendly banter!

Look forward to moving down there.

As far as work goes I do computer work and my wife is a medical assistant. I'm sure that work will be easier to come by once I can go in and talk to people instead of email/phone.

I'll keep everyone posted once I get down there.

Craig, hope the move was smooth... and thanks for letting me ride with you on that last trail run in NM.

I just picked up an XJ (not as equipped as yours) and am getting the bug again, big time. Enjoy Texas and stay in touch.

Glenn_B: The Move went about as smooth as it could go. We are in our house and the wife and I actually got jobs that start on Monday. Life is good i hope to hit some trails that are near by in a few weeks.
 
Sounds like a good start! Congrats.

I made my first trip out to Puerco this morning to get to know the place and shake down the Jeep. We had fun.

Looking forward to seeing pic of your rig in your new area.
