Well I just got orders to Ft Polk, LA. I'll report around 2 months from now so looks like I fall under the RRC.

Looking forward to talking about jeep things with you jokers...

Here's my bucket:

RC 4.5 X series, Synergy spring hangers, 4.0/AW4/231, D30/8.25, 31" TSLs. Still gotta do SYE and D44 install. Patching rust holes with 18 ga. and rivets this weekend.:dunce:

Nah I'm good. Stuffing the biggest meats would mean sacrificing room in the wheel wells. Bought these tires when I thought I was gonna rebuild my 1st XJ on a 3.5 in lift, so I had them when I got back from Afghanistan.

Lift is fairly new so it still has some settling to do as well.

Eventually I will bump the lift an inch or so higher- at that point I will go with 33s- maybe 35s (depending on future lift upgrades), but I like the amount of room I have.

Hey thanks man. We'll be there no later than the end of Feb- then the rest of our stuff will come through movers but it should be quick. I just moved once already and am finally getting my garage organized for some winter work when I get these orders...

No sweat- Already got my eye on the RoM run... looks like about 4 hours away from where I'll be. A quart of oil and 55 mph will get me there. Might be more than 4 hours at that point. :smoker: From what i've read re the RoM ideas you guys sound like a good match: just enough trouble to be fun.

The ol' Wartoad needs to stretch her legs. Been web wheeling more than anything due to mods and the moving.

Got about 5 or 6 projects partway done- need to just hammer them out ONE at a time- thanks mom and dad for the attention span!

Hey thanks guys.

Nah Eric, just here for jeep stuff. I try not to get TOO tied into multiple sites for the same thing. I might check it out though. Saw the link before and thought it might be for resto-service vehicles...

Welcome!!

Nah, just a way for guys to keep in touch and help each other out. Good way to get advanced knowledge of the area, instead of having to rely on a sponsor that isn't really enthusiastic or helpful. You'll have a network built even before you get to Polk.
