motorcycle engine?

so I'm looking to make a fun go-kart sand rail type machine with my dad and I'm looking for a cheap motorcycle engine.
if anyone has one or knows of where I could get one please let me know.

Damn, I just got rid of two GS 650 motors. Not sure if they would have worked though they were shaft drive outputs.

i got a 2005 ninja 250 motor running on the bike, 250 plus shipping from 71112, about 1500 miles demo bike wrecked

damn this sucks, we just dumped a complete ducatti 9xxcc motor. we towed it because the dude wrapped the front of frame into the back of car...
