I already said I have the brown dog super kit ready to go, but I might aswell do the tranny mount. I have a 2000. I heard the crossmember was slightly different on the 00/01 models.
ALSO whats the deal with the the tranny and motor mounts having to match material wise? I installed a poly trans mount in my V8 Wagoneer with no issues. still running the stock rubber motor mounts, but they are in perfect shape.
you want to run a tranny mount less stiff or as stiff as the engine mounts. I.e. drown dogs w/ stock tranny mount. Not stock engine mounts w/ poly tranny mount. You risk damaging the bell housing/ transmission casing. However, it may not be that much of an issue on the power we are running.
