My mother in law runs this so I figured I would start a running thread to give pictures of available animals. She has horses, dogs, occasional cats, puppies, kittens, etc. Remember, this is an animal rescue, not the humane society, so some of the animals will be animals who were taken from bad circumstances. Most are animals surrendered for whatever reason. Any animals with a bad history (aggression, violence, etc) are weeded out and not put up for adoption, so don't be worried about getting a bad apple.

Very cute and friendly cat. Very affectionate and loving. Would love to go home with someone and get out of the heat and away from her noisy neighbors! ADOPTED as of 9/27/10 Just spoke to my mother in law. Cat went fast!

German shepherd mix puppy. Sweet, playful, happy puppy. I might take this one...

Mixed breed hound puppy. He barks like a normal dog, no baying yet. Very friendly and quiet. He was taken from a home where He was neglected, will need love and food. Very gentle, will eat right from your hand without catching skin or anything else. In my experience, that's a rare find with a puppy.

There is generally no adoption fee, she only asks for a donation towards the cost of getting the animal fixed. All animals are fixed before being adopted. Also any donations towards the cost of running the rescue are appreciated as well, be it money or food.

Bro this is cool you posted this. Both my dogs were rescued from abusive houses and they are the most gentle bad ass dogs i have ever had. Keep it going bro...damn i want the hound pup oh well i cant good looking dog though

Let me know when/if she has any horses come through. I know a nice couple who's trail horse is a little to old for the trails these days and is developing a lame hip. She's hopefully going to pasture soon and they might be interested in taking in another horse.

She's got a few in right now, what type of horse might they be looking for? I'll check with her and make sure that she has adoptable horses. She's a farrier/trainer and makes sure that the horses aren't complete a-holes before they go.

No adoption fee on the dogs and cats, horses, I'm not sure. All she asks for on dogs and cats is a donation towards getting them fixed.

None right now, but I will update as new animals come in.

The hound puppy is still skinny, but is more active and playful was just there playing with puppies Sunday.

They're not in the market yet. They wan't to find a new boarder with better riding arenas before they get another horse. I've let them know about you guys though and they said they'd keep you in mind.

p.s. They prefer quarter horses or thoroughbreads

I think she has a couple of thoroughbreds in right now. If they're boarders or available, I'm not sure. Give them her phone number, she'd be more than happy to answer any questions, heck, if they don't mind the drive, she could even board them, plenty of riding around the area.
