Morningwood: The tale of a woody waggy...

hey man you can get the window guts for manual doors and it only takes twenty minutes to convert using the original doors! i did it to my mj when i had it, and they worked great the entire time i had it, and the guy who has the truck hasn't even asked about it.
btw, you should really go full-size next time you're thinkin woody waggy.

Doug still has wood. Project is still underway.

pics for those interested.... on a side note does anyone have a ballistic joint tool? one of the thread sets got heat cycled pretty bad and i cant drive the retainer in with a punch alone....

sorry i didn't have time to stop by and see it... was in town for about an hour, enough time to grab food and weld on D rings...

well one went in easy its all the way in with a punch.... if its threaded and from ballistic its usually goobered from the start, i cant even hand tighten ALL the inserts for my 3/4 heims i have been satisfied with their customer service for a change though, and the new laser cutting seems to be workin out better than the crap they had before

get the joints together then? need the tool still?

-insert pinocchio tune here- "ohhhhh i got no jack-stands to hold me down...." ;)

ended up with a slight wheelbase push which is a good thing... the driveshaft length and angles came out PERFECT all it needs is the caster adjusted back a hare but ive still got room in the upper to go back some more.

thanks for the compliments guys i cant take all the credit though, matt for allowing me access to the sexy weldin machine and to my dear mother for putting up with the wooden brick in her driveway for almost three months (i live in an apartment) i know the homeowners association probably doesnt appreciate it but i know i do! And lets not forget my stepdad Toby whose been real supportive of my latest creation and whose allowed me to fill in the blanks with his tools, since most of my tool collection got stolen earlier this year....
