Yeah, I was almost thinking of getting one just for the premade wires.
Not really a scam, just selling to the :gee: of the species.

Sure do, would you prefer the fosters based formula or the yungeling based then theres the environmentally friendly O'douls based formula but thats extra due to feed problems of getting it into the processor.... :D

Some ads are truly hilarious, and you have to wonder who writes the stuff.

Anyone get the Sportsmans Guide catalog? Or use their web site?

They've been selling a cheap little import lensatic (magetic needle) compass for over a year. In the blurb, it says the compass is "calibrated for magnetic declination in North America."

Sounds impressive, doesn't it? Unless you were ever a boy scout or in the infantry, and know that the magnetic declination is different by many degrees from one side of North America to the other. And that ignores the fact that there's no way you can "calibrate" a simple needle swinging over a card.

Gotta dig up a new JC Whitney catalog and see if I can still bolt on 150 extra horsepower while doubling my gas mileage, all for less than 75 bucks.
