Monterey residents?

Alright....I'm considering moving to Monterey. Anyone around here from that area? Any experience good or bad? What about wheeling places? SCUBA Diving locations?

For wheeling you have Hollister Hills and Scuba you have the Bay

I live in santa cruz, which is right across the bay from monterey. on a good day we can look across and see the beaches. there's a great wheeling spot like 30 minutes away and monterey has some of the best scuba diving in america.
also the location is amazing, I love it here and if it weren't so expensive I'd plan to live here for the rest of my life.
seriously get your butt out here and start enjoying life
