Monroe (Tenneco) vs. Rancho Steering Stabilizer

What are the differences between Rancho's Steering Stabilizer and the Monroe (Tenneco) Steering Stabilizer? Which one is preferred for 33" tires and offroading?

wouldnt make any difference in my opinion. go with whatever is cheaper

i havent run a stabilizer in about 4 years.

What I find weird is that everyone swears by the Monroe (Tenneco) steering stabilizer but the Rancho has a way larger diameter piston tube. Could it be that the valving is significantly different? This is the difference I am curious about.
