modern warfare 2

i just got back from a friends house playing it. i liked the game so far. im not a big gamer so i dont have the best opinion about it. kept me entertained so its good in my book. if i owned a xbox it would be a game i would fork money out for.
 
Mine won't get here til today. I preordered, and got the free night vision goggles coming with it too.
 
I love it! I havnt played through the campaign yet, i got about 1/2 way and jumped on live.
 
Night vision goggles?
 
Yeah the premium edition came with a BA set of night vision goggles (like several hundred dollar pair of goggles), but it was a limited supply deal.

I am really not a gamer, but I love first person shooters like this. I usually beat them in a few hours, but I love to play online as well.
 
haven't played it yet, mainly because i sold my 360 about a year ago, but i am a BIG fan of the COD series. It was the only game i had besides guitar hero that could hold my interest for more than 20 minutes. Started to play COD4 on my laptop a few months ago, but my video card was too slow so it would freeze frame a lot, and then my motherboard went off the deep end. Once i get my PC set up to play games, Modern Warfare 2 is definitely one I'm going to invest in though.
 
Watched X-play on G4 last night and it was all about MW2. It looks good and they say the campaigns are much smaller and actually easier to navigate through then on COD4
 
I still might get it Friday.
 
I'm always disappointed in the single player campaigns on every game. The real fun is in multiplayer. The campaigns are made for every Joe and not much of a challange.
