Mobil 1 prices

Noticed yesterday that the local Walmart (in Columbus, GA) was selling Mobil 1 for 3.74 a quart...making buying five individual quarts cheaper than the $19 5 quart jug I usually buy. Never seen it that cheap so of course I bought 14 quarts which'll last me the next 12,000 miles Might be worth a check!

I usually just pick my Mobil 1 up at Costco. Unless I am brousing through adds and see some Outlandish sale somewhere where there is something else I need to go check out.

5x3.74= 18.70 Not that much cheaper, but compared to Costco [email protected]=3.99 a shot.

Either way I think I'd go with Costco only becuase I'm there more often than Wal-mart.

Muarry's Auto, as lost as they are with product knowledge, they will price match with anyone, and more likely have it in stock more so than other places.

I have the same reasoning with Costco. But on the other hand, some people do not have the membership. Others spend more time at Target or Wal-mart. For the difference in gas to stop at Wal-Mart, where I am at, I have to have another reason to stop there. In some areas, the only option for Mobil 1 is $4.99 per quart.

I second that question. Both XJ axles and the rear in my pickup need it, sick of tracking down quart bottles 1-2 at a time. Dare I say it, but maybe (ooh!) it'd be more convenient to call (doh!) a local Amsoil guy for this? (now I did it...)

you know, it's kinda funny. 3 years ago, when i first started using it, it was about 2.70 a quart. but when thay got that @#$% nascar sticker on the side of the bottle, the price almost doubled..... :smsoap:lastara
