MJ Sighting-India??

I'm watching IRT deadliest roads and they are going over the Rhotang Pass, which is in India judging by the Tata trucks. I saw this vehicle with square headlights and a vertically slotted grill that looked just like a MJ. I know CJ's were made in India, any MJ clones?

Not any XJ/MJ clones that I'm aware of, but the CJ platform in India has had a huge number of variants on it over the years.

My guess is that you probably saw a Mahindra Bolero or one of its predecessors; depending on the age of the model, they can look MJ-ish from the right angles. It's another CJ3/5 derivative, FWIW.

A grill that looks like it could have come from an International tractor... with fenders that scream GM... and tail lights off a Dodge Dakota... made by a subcompany of Ford.
What the hell is that thing supposed to be?
