Mj Dana 44 in okc

Saw a white mj with a 44 under it at the junkyard today. Got a phone call that limited my time available to pull parts but mapped things out. Does anyone know how to remove a rear hatch lock? Finally.found one /w keys.

Rear hatch lock is very easy. It's held in the same way the door locks are. With a u shaped wedge.

Not sure on engine type, didn't look under the hood. Its pretty well picked over save for that rear sans the diff cover. The wheel blocks are on the leaf springs. Not sure how to go about it without the use of jacks, cutters, or torches. Its in that pick a part yard on like Robinson south of the 40

Its an inline 6 they usually reset it for me if anyone is interested lemme know

They reset it, commanche Is on bumpers instead of springs now, so if anyone needs leafs or rear its open for picking. Wish it was 4x4 and not so dented id have tried to make an offer on the whole thing. That is if I had the money to do it, I keep forgetting about that little part.
