misfire/distributor problem

Sorry phone is shattered cuz of my gas tank falling on it. I guess my pump was dieing and i finished it from starting all the time plus it was filthy in the pump and assembly. Anyways, figured it by getting a fuel pump out of a 95 grand cherokee. Stripped the pump itself out of the assembly, then swapped it all over and put it in my assembly. Once I got the pump in an the Jeep started it was still missing, I don't know why but put my old 8 mm spark wires back on and tried it again and wam it purred like a kitten. Went and returned the other wires got new ones and still running perfect.
