Great idea, except I am not a welder

I take it you would pull the brake and clutch MCs and the power bulkhead connector, and weld the under the hood side?

ahhh, well you can still drill out the ends of the cracks to keep them from spreading. and yes i would have pulled all the crap to weld it. you might be able to get away with bolting a plate to it the bulkhead as a bandaid, but welding it up is really the safest option

I think the 2 cracks terminated in the passenger side bolt already. Not sure yet, where the third side ends. the fourth end is in the photo.
