You sound like my mom, and that is about the highest compliment I can give. We grew up in the mountains and she could take a 2 wheel drive car where most people would have problems with a 4x4.
RichP said:Well, we usually have about a 35-50% senior citizen turn out for the Jeep 101 and 201 courses at paragon during the summer so age has nothing to do with it. It is one of those times when the qtips and skinheads talk the same language :laugh3:
Churchlady said:OK, Rich-who-told-me-what-a-loom-is; tell me what Qtips and skinheads are.
RichP said:While you are down in florida take a look at all the little old ladys driving from behind, they look like qtips sticking above the seats :laugh3:
Be grateful their heads are at least visible. Back in my Dallas days I'd see huge Cadillacs apparently self-propelling themselves down the Highland Park streets, no head to be seen from the rear; from the sides and front just a purple top-of-head and two little eyebrows craning up to see over the dash.
Churchlady said:You're probably right. The day someone sees this 68 year old grandma driving her precious XJ through axle-high creeks just for fun she'll be lifted into a paddy wagon, locked in a straightjacket, and ready for the cuckoo's nest.
I was just pulling your collective leg and thinking, "Ah, youth!"
