Anyone heard of them? I was hoping to get some reviews on them and their service before taking the plunge and buying an engine. Myself and another member have been in touch with them and though it is not listed as "in stock" on their site, they do build a 4.7L stroker.

The stroker costs $1700 (with free shipping) anywhere in MA, NH, ME, or VT. They bring you the stroker and take your stock engine away. I live in southeast MA so if anyone in the RI or CT area would be interested I could have the engine delivered to my house and you could pick it up here (instead of driving to ME).

This is not an immediate plan. Probably wouldn't be ordering until at least late spring/early summer. Not sure how long the engines would be ready after placing an order... Just checking interest levels for now. The site says that there are bulk discounts available and I would be willing to organize a bulk order (depending what they consider bulk). May even be able to get a bit of a discount. Would anyone be interested?

I am but you already know that ;). But just to add to themangeraaad's post Frank, the owner of the shop, also said you could drop of your XJ and have them do everything from removal to installation for around $3000 if that interests anyone else.

get me a parts list and maybe

but i need one sooner than spring

sooner than spring might be tough, I know jbcherokee isn't able to make the purchase until at least the summer, and I have to wait until at least march to ensure I have a job before I start buying 1700$ engines :D I mean a couple hundred here and there for axles is one thing, but I have a perfectly good engine to hold me over.

Regardless, I understand that you may not be able to wait. I will see if I can get a parts list for you (or you can give them a call yourself, either way works). If I can get enough people to commit to an order maybe they will allow a bulk order to be spread out over a few months, esp where they will have to build the engines. Again, this all depends what they consider a bulk order to be, if "bulk" is 20 engines we are SOL either way. Maybe I will call on my lunch break tomorrow and see what I can do.

On my end, I hoped to purchase early spring so I could build my Jeep over the course of the spring and have it ready for summer.. I started planning to build the Jeep & get a stroker, etc... then literally 2 days later I found out I may be jobless in 3 months because the customer that I support may be cutting back on parts ordered from my company.. which means I may not be needed anymore. I think (hope)it should all be ok, but I just have to wait out Q1 next year until I know about job security for sure; which means for now I have to be smart with the $$ which means no stroker :( I will post up a parts list asap if I can get one.

Edit: The fact that I am hoping to buy a house doesn't help either (which has also been put on hold pending further notice)... but if I can't find a reasonable house the XJ gets parts. Fair trade I think :)
