MAP Adjuster Setting??

Well Ill give it a shot, If I have to pull them I will. If these flow 25.5 lbs and are capable of pulling 25% fuel, that drops me by 6.375# and puts me at almost 19#, so hopefully ill be able to find a happy spot. I know im probably fighting a loosing battle though, but at least it gives me something to work on in my little spare time :)

hoping that would possibly help with throttle response and fuel economoy.

Multi orifice injectors don't help much if any in all engines. In many cases MO injectors have been replaced with single orifice ones with no el effects.
So why the more costly part when we all know the factory isn't going to put a dime more into them then needed.
Well the feds are a lot pickier about the smog numbers then most states. The feds spec say your smog numbers have to be right 90 seconds after a cold start. The MO injector will help out when an engine is not really up to full running temp yet. Helping out with the air/fuel mixing in a cold intake charge. But be of no value ones engine is up to temp.
Most states tell you to have your engine up to full temp before getting it tested. So the MO injector never come into play for state testing.
All this and more is somewhat fact and also (((((IMO))))))

If you can't find a stand alone sniffer. Many hand scanners will give you the lean/rich readings of the stock O2s. With this you can get real close along with plugs and ping.

I was todl that the LT injectors that work the best are the 93 injectors, as they are rated @ lower lb/hr. My suggestion, either strade those with someone for some 93's or some ford orange/yellow tops.

Alright, I have read this entire thread. I have a set of LT1 injectors running in my 96 XJ. I have access to a scan tool and the computer is pulling fuel out alot. The jeep runs fine though and economy is fair. I have a cone filter, a patched together exhaust, a 99+ intake. I have always thought a MAP adjuster would be perfect for my set-up.

In defense of the LT1 injectors, my OE ones had 200k and an instant smoother idle and nicer throttle response was felt. 93 LT1 injectors are lower LBS/HR but I am uncertain of the amount of spray nozzles.

Two solutions are present to make the injectors work perfectly. Adjustable FPR or an Adjustable MAP.

They may be a lower LB/hr but their PSI may also be lower than the Jeep's fuel system PSI. Since it is pulling fuel out The lb is higher on the Jeep fuel system then the stock injectors were. I would try an adjustable FPR to start with.

Hey for anyone who was curious. I got my MPG's to jump up above 15, which is right in line with what it was before. To do this I dropped my voltage down to 4.0v. It seemed to run pretty strong but I have no idea what my actual AF ratio was. There did seem to be a weird hesitation though that was affected both by throttle and rpm. I dont know if this was due to the injectors though as I think I remember the hesitation with the stock injectors. I just barely swapped in my stock injectors and a MAP voltage set at 5.0v to see if things change at all. Ill save the lt1s for the stroker when the time comes.
