Dudes, I need a machinist/off road shop that can do a couple things, if I have to go to two places it's no big deal.

The piece that spaces the caliper out needs to be shaved down from .482" to .388"

I also need to take down the rear axle bearing seal retainer lip from .225" to .125"

Then I need to have the original holes in the retainer plate filled and re drilled to XJ pattern, then preferably pressed on to the new shafts.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I can list a couple of shops for stuff like this, but think that ordering the correct bearing retainer will solve that problem.

Rubi retainer for an XJ disc swap. "Correct retainer" does not exist.

Is this "lip" on the axle retainer plate itself?

I wonder if you contacted someone like StinkyFab if he could hook you up. He probably knows exactly what you need and you may not need to bring/send parts to him? He is on this site and does work with cal the others who are have the NAXJA Racing Jeep.

OK, I can handle the fill and drill to help streamline the process.

EDIT: I can press the bearings.

Aaron Brucker can do this with ease, you'll just have to ask if he will take some light work: http://www.bruckerbrothersltd.com/

I've had a lot of work done by A&E Technologies here in Golden. They are a medium sized shop and have to balance their workload: http://www.aeweldshop.com/index.html

In both cases, tell them I sent you.

I seem to remember something like this in the Comanche R&D thread.

Excellent! Thanks for the help Mike!

I sent Dallas/stinkyfab a PM just to see, I'd love to support a NAXJA supporter like them.

If that doesn't work I'll contact your suggestions and go from there!!
