Anybody know if the guy that started the Eaton M90/ stroker project got it running? Looks like I'll be helping a guy build that combo and dropping it in a TJ.
It'll be a Renix ECU with a Prologger doing the tuning and an FMU to get the mixture close. 36 lb/hr injectors are preferred correct? Wondering what's a good fuel pump. Also I'm not sure on the static C.R., currently thinking hypereutectic pistons with a little machining to get more dish. But, a small intercooler may negate that need. I only want to see 5 psi and the elevation here is 5000 feet.

Thoughts?

i think everything is spot on. im not fammiliar with the prologger, ive looked into the megasquirt setup as reccomended per turbo dodge guys for management.

definately run a small intercooler. i believe that 1st gen dsm's (eclipse, talon, laser) have very good stock intercoolers, that would be cheap at the junkyard if you find them.

also, everyone including dino reccomended 24lb injectors, which seem way too small. my plan was to run 30#

Dino's site refers to much larger injectors than 24's. For boosted applications one will probably need 30's...

Edit: I just used my stupid little engine calculator program to figure it out. Figuring around 350 flywheel hp with six injectors, it spits out a calculation of just over 43#...

I couldn't help thinking I did something wrong above so I ran it again figuring 310hp at the crank on a 4.6 with 5psi boost. The program spits out 40.36# at 423cc/min...
