Hey, I meant nothing by it... but here goes.

no offense taken, i just wanted to hear your opinion. it's the first time i've ever run them so i'm still not sure what i think. i expected them to do better than they did though, that's for sure. but i don't know what else i'd get, that's the thing. i guess we'll see come the next few trips i go on.

They just seemed to plug up really well and you had to give it more throttle to get them to unload the crud. Now maybe that was just me, I'd love to hear what other people thought of them while watching you. I've never run them...

meh. it's a good chance you're right about this. i've seen them in deep mud and rocks before and they've done pretty well when others were mediocre. maybe it's terrain dependant more than i anticipated.

we're all forgetting how awesome my BFG all terrains did in the snow, duh! best snow tire out there!

this is true i had no complaints with the bfg at's and this is the first winter i havent run them

For some reason I always seem to buy new tires in the winter... and out of, BFG A/T, Procomp extreme A/T, Baja Claw Radials, slightly used set of TSL SSR and MT/Rs. Nothing even comes close to the Procomp extreme M/T I am running right now.

I sold Anthony those LTBs, and I would definitely agree that they didn't do well in the snow... but in my experience with them, they did very well on my Jeep in all the runs I was on. Had good traction, climbed rocks easily and only ever needed wheelspin in situations where the open front end was unhappy :jester:... I liked them, personally. Hope they work out as well for Anthony as they did for me... Maybe on this run the fact that they are a really soft bias tire screwed him a bit, because it was so cold they froze up and basically became slicks? idk, just a thought

not gonna lie, they kinda sucked on snow, but i did ok. they were awesome on the rocks and mud though.

its a well known fact they suck in the snow, but they'll be great this spring/summer in the rocks and mud

You did well for your first time. I think the only thing that sticks out in my mind was when you were stuck sideways turning around in the gutter for awhile and you were just throttling it digging deeper. I think you just need to know when to call defeat before you start busting parts. I didn't walk down to see how you got out as I was, at the time, trying to figure out how to attach Anthony's high-lift to a rock, so maybe it wasn't as bad as we/I thought.

i probly should quit earlier on that one. billy ended up tugging my rear end off that hump and i was all set. lockers would have got me outta that one in a jiffy

I like Big Mac's... Honestly though, I would be interested in a run around that time hopefully. I don't have a whole ton left with my Jeep, but its covered in snow right now, and don't really have anywhere to work on it :doh: so we'll see when the more favorable weather comes along...

I'm down, I just bought a bunch more stuff and don't plan on stopping. I'll get my junk towed to my house so I can start working on it soon too as long as the snow will let off for a little.
