x2. I'm coming from way out east.
I'll be leaving my house around 7:15-7:30 so I can be at the meeting/rally spot for 9am (really will end up being there just before that). You guys can't have to leave much earlier than that, right?

Colin, I know this place, this is the route I've gone the last couple times to the trail. I'm sure we can avoid what happened last time.

Alright no problem. I just mapquested it real quick and it had us taking the pike all the way out there. We can do the backroads like last time.
I'll meet wherever and whenever the majority is meeting.
The above quoted is my only concern.

where's the trailhead? although i may still not be able to wheel with the shoulder - i'll find out the 8th. i've never been and am coming from way out east also. maybe us easterners can convoy out there?

There really isn't a good place to park vehicles at the entrance to the trail. There is a nice little opening good for pre-run meeting/ air down, but I wouldn't park a vehicle there.
Anywhere close by for me to park my Silverado?

we parked 15 trucks with trailers there with NE4W!!!
there is absolutely room at the trail head.
and kyle, you have been on this trail before on a UJ run.
Sounds good then.
I guess that is something I'll really have to worry about in the future too being as I'll have to trailer mine everywhere.
Once everyone comes to a conclusion on where / when to meet let me know! I open to anything.
if we get snow before then will there be room to get less capable vechicles in there?

i would say that if people plan on taking rt. 2 out, the meeting spot Rob listed is best.

i would say no problem, as long as they are 4 wheel. and its not like we wont have tow straps.
plus the snow mobile guys must have a place to park
sound good billy, i got a friend drivin down in his truck but will be riding with me on the trail, so is everyone ok with meting at the trail head at 10? if anyone wants to meet at the spot i pm'ed everyone let me know, and we can meet there and then meet everyone else at the trailhead

aah i know where it is now. i guess i'll go straight to the trail if i'm ok to wheel, and to the meeting spot if i have to ride along.
