M&G Jan in Mass

looked like fun, I got stuck plowing at work and changing diapers

Awsome time. Just got in as well, but i was out playing some more!!!!
Had a great time. robs air was f*ing great. Im still pissed i missed it tho......... Sean thanks for pulling everyone.

i had fun wheeling. i'm ordering WJ stuff right now because my jeep does not go straight. ordering everything except the jks trac bar. i'm probably just going to cut and sleeve mine. i'll get the knuckles and brakes probably next weekend or something and do the swap...i dunno in 2 or 3 weeks.

Let me know if you need any help with anything...

I had an awesome time yesterday. It was great to finally put some names to faces of those I hadn't meet before.

Oh and on the ride home I convinced Angel that she needs a Cherokee and a "small lift". I can quote; "build it like Mark's, but keep it Adam's lift height". I'm not to sure what that means, but it leaves the door wide open... haha.
Got finish one before I start another though or I'll never wheel!

I finally just got home, I'm going to pass out now.
Any more funky electrical gremlins?
Thanks again for letting us ride with you! :)

I was kicking myself on the way home. I never crawled under to see if you could do anything with that front suspension. It completely slipped my mind.

eh ended up not ordering them. i was going to use eric's card cuz i need parts but not enough $ in the account at the moment and i have a big check coming thurs... but JKS won't take amex. oh well. how many go-fer-its did you need? 2 or 3? did you put one in the top TRE seat of the pass side knuckle? my plans for this swap now include straigtening then boxing my LCA mounts and perhaps a truss. anyone have some 2x4 3/16 or 1/4 wall?

on another note, i drove to work on my aired down LTBs hehe. avoided main roads except for a half mile of bridge that i have to take. it's better than i thought, but something's still tweaked. the tranny isn't as bad as i thought. i think my double cardan joint was just rubbing the O2 sensor mount because i landed on my crossmember multiple times. i'll check it out later today. oh yeah, my tools, spare tire, and rock rails are still in the back too haha

Haha no problem man. It was pretty crappy out, I wouldn't have let you crawl under there to ruin your clothes and be soaked for the rest of the day. I'll take some measurements during the week or this weekend and throw some numbers into that calculator you sent me.

Yep, you have to run everything OTK. There isn't enough room to run the tie rod OTK and the draglink UTK. Not to mention you lessen the angles of the TREs on the draglink by doing this, which in turn helps the WJ TRE at the pitman arm.

that's pretty much what i was thinking. glad to have some official confirmation. for real this time, on thursday (payday) i'm ordering everything except knuckles and brakes. getting new brake lines too. right now i'm running the chevy lines and i couldn't route them well, so they rub my tires.... no good. i think i'm going to cut up my trac bar and sleeve it and make a mount from scratch. it's a shame to see a 6 month old RE1600 get hacked up, but the heim and poly bushing are both fine... beside RE is overpriced anyway :moon:

good idea, but i've already got the trac bar. maybe i'll get RE brake lines through him...

We need more pictures!!!

5.5" is a small lift???
