Folks I'm going to try and get some of the local folks in my area to start a monthly meeting the first to be Jan 27'th a little south of Binghamton NY. This not a club or anything just folks who want to wheel meeting up to try and plan some trips to PAP or ruasch creek or where ever. All are welcome. If you can't make it but are interested inbeing on a e-mail list to be contacted just PM me.

There is a place in Conklin on route 7 called the Ramblin Pig it's a southern style barb-q everything is smoked, pulled pork, chicken,and brisket plus ribs. Its a family spot with a large parking area so we could shoot the sh!t and not be anybodys way. It's a nice place nothing fancy and priced good. I'm thinking like 1 or 2 oclock either sat or sun. If we have a big turn out I'd need to let him know a head of time because he starts cooking at 4am

How long does it take to get there from Albany? I-88, I'm guessing

To get to the M&G it's about an 2 hours maybe. This is just to get togther and plan some trips to PAP or any where else we can think of . PAP is about two hours south from Binghamton depending on your gearing. They have all levels of trails.

OK It's looking like the 27th at 2 I have some response from folks here plus quite a few folks from other forums and local folks. It's still early yet but looking for a head count if we get enough the owner will smoke a couple of prime ribs for us.

You can count me in. Unfortunately I might not have the XJ anymore by the 27th but a Full Sized Cherokee instead

Since we won't be wheelin it doesn't matter what you bring, my rig will be being painted so I doubt I'll have it there. As for the trip to PAP if the rigs ready I'm sure I'll go

I will be there unless we have troops coming back from Asscrackistan arond that day or night. I will know about 48 hours ot if I can make it or not. I haven't decided if I am going to bring the Jeep since it is a long drive with no 'wheelin'.
