Ok almost have my front axle out, but those lower control arm bolts are TIGHT! Any advice as how to get them out by yourself, don't have any help for a while.

If they still will not budge use a piece of pipe and square tube as a helper to get some leverage.
grind the nut off...
Personally, I prefer to keep hardware in it's original state, so that it can be used again. And I'm pretty sure he does too.
Breaker bar is the key. I know i've dropped the ball on getting down there to help you. If I get a free weekend in the next couple of weeks i'll be down there for sure!
Ive got air tools and a compressor, if you cant get this off, I can bring down to you to finish the job.
Ever find access to a transmission jack so we can swap them out easily?
