Loud fuel pump

Just replaced the fuel and its super loud. But when i put my jeep in reverse it gets quiet and goes back to being loud once out of reverse. Anyone have any idea on what it could be

What kinda car ? Make, model, engine, year, etc. ?

Cheap fuel pumps are cheap for a reason, what brand of fuel pump did you install ?

1992 xj. 4.0, auto, np242. believe is said Delphi. Pump is from autozone

Is it different between 1/8 tank and full?

Is it different between 1/8 tank and full? Did you put the rubber stopper on the end of the pickup tube?

It doesnt seem to make a difference what level the fuel is at. Obly time i can tell it gets quite is when the jeep is put into reverse
