On my way back to the XJ side of things!

Well my name is Phil and at the moment I am finishing a zooki build. Plan is sell it when done and get back into an XJ. Have wheeled them before but moved to a Toyota then the Zooki. Well I have two boys, 7months and 18months, and my wife. Zooki is just to small. Glad to be going back to a Jeep as I am the odd one in the family with my dad owning a built TJ and a built CJ5 and my brother in a some what built XJ.

Plan for the XJ once I have it is 6.5 LA 35's and bumpers sliders and frame plating. Plan to step up to D44's before to long.

I'm Jim. My newest to me Jeep is an XJ. I'm shocked at how well it works. Oh. . .I'm in Richland, Wa. Lifetime wheeler and member of the Tri Cities Peak Putters. I like to go fast too. . .

Hey guys, I figure I'd better introduce myself, after using all the great info on this site to get my "build" started.

My name is Dustin, and I live in the South hill/Puyallup area of WA. My XJ is a '00 sport with auto/4.0/d30/8.25, 4.5" RC lift, H&T SYE, and sway bar disconnects on the front and no sway bar on the back.

I am pretty much a complete newb to wheeling, but it seems fun the little bit I've had the heep out to play with it. I am looking forward to actually running a trail or two in the near future (as soon as I can make my mind up on what tires I want)

well im cody. i had an xj, then rolled it. started swapping the drivetrain/eletronics into a mj, then bought a zj to hold me over, then bought another mj that had been slapped together because the zj didnt like the road. anyways the new mj is close to being pretty capeable offroad/semi built so hopefully in the next month or 2 ill be taking it out more.

Anyways i got rearended on the freeway and got pushed into another truck in front of me. It got totaled out so with the ins. money i went and got me a nicer one. Heres a couple pics. Its all stock minus a Yakima rack and a Pioneer stereo that ill be replacing anyways lol. Im only the 3rd owner and its only got 142k miles on it. Needless to say i got the XJ bug again lol.

Cherokee's are for kids and women. Grown ups wheel Wranglers!

I've got an 91 XJ kind of a beater but its lifted about 4 inches with KM 2 bfg tires. goes ok but I'm having wiring trouble. The washer motor switch smokes when turned, the ignition switch sticks. my X son in law disabled the vaccum crap that runs the front diff.I need to find some help putting this thing back on the road {off road} with out worring about having to walk home. also with the 31 inch tires I need to swap ring and pinion gears.
