I'm moving to Mountainview New Years weekend. Any chance one or two of you are interested in swinging by Jan/1 evening or Jan/2 mid day to help me unload the bulkier stuff from the truck? (toolboxes, transmissions, a couple dozen 35" falkens, etc).

To be repaid in dinner and a case of your favorite beer, or a return favor of your choice at a later date. Or maybe after I'm settled we can take the racecar up to Hollister and let you beat on it a little bit. We'll figure it out.

I'm not bringing much furniture, so its mostly just bulky garage stuff that is awkward with one person. Should be an hour or two max.

Send me your digits and I'll text when I leave LA to figure out schedule. Not sure if I'm driving up 12/31 or 1/1 at this point. Or where my new house is. And I'll have to find keys to it. ;)

I think the GF and I will be out of town but if she ends up having to work or something like that and it falls through I might be able to head out. I just wont know until the day before or maybe a few days before so count me out for now but as a maybe.

I think I could come up one of those days and help out.

Cool. I'll post up more specific details and contact info when it gets closer. Still working on packing here, then have to manage to rent and load a truck New Years Eve, and drive from LA to the valley without falling asleep somewhere. :)

Thanks Patrick and Gordon!

Now begins the eternal game of Tetris making all my junk fit in this garage. And maybe buying some arctic gear. Its freaking cold here. ;)

Money is abundant everywhere in my field. :) Cost of living here is almost double, but we're on two incomes now instead of one so it will balance out.

Its still getting under my skin being back. When I left silicon valley I swore I'd never move back.
