Long seat brackets

Since Mitch Big boy doesn't make them for the XJ anymore, I had the guys over at FabIndustries (6th and Sheridan) make some up. I had them made from 1/4" steel - prob a little overkill, but hey, safety right?
Anyway, makes a massive difference in legroom for my 6'6" frame and well worth it. The guys (Adam and Rob - brothers) will know what's up if you ask them for them now.

just an FYI update, Misch is making the XJ seat bracket now and will be in full production within the next couple of weeks. I was told they are going to be about $50 or so...

I installed a set of their new BigBoy brackets about a month or two ago, and I've been meaning to do a review of them, but I've just been so busy. Installation was pretty simple once I had the seat in front of me and could match it up to their diagram. The only gotcha is that you'll need a cutting tool of some kind to then allow you to bend a small section of the seat's frame out of the way that interferes with one of the new bolts.

For folks with longer legs they're definitely worth the money. I'm 6'3", and I can't reach the controls if the seat is in the new rear-most position.

I am not sure but I thought you only have to cut a small tab on the drivers seat only... hack saw and a pair of pliers? Love to see your write up.
