ok so im waiting for my long arm kit ima trying out the dirt bound mid arm kit with dual uppers its a diy kit so i can make my arms any length my question is wats the best way to get the axle centered an extended out? im running ima say 5.5 in lift my thoghts were to make jack stands for ride height then take the coils out an move the axle as needed bout then wont know when the coil is strieght so anyone that has done a diy or bilt yor own long arm kit advice is nice thanks

Use a plumb bob to center it, and a jack at the yoke with dial indicator on the C to get the castor dialed.

Where did you find the kit? Sounds neat
edit: found it... http://www.dirtboundoffroad.com/jeep-cherokee-xj/lift-kits/mid-arm-kit-jeep-cherokee-xj/

not sure how i feel about a mid radius arm style set up. Most mid arms perform so well because the upppers are independant from lowers to minimize castor change throughout susp. travel. This seems like it would only increase castor change over a long radius arm. I'm interested to see how it works out for you.
