Local tire shop to mount new tires

Sweet thanks,I ordered the tires on Saturday but they are on back order so I'm not sure when I will get them.I called Goodyear directly and they didn't have a date either. The only reason I did order them even with no ETA was because it was the last day of the $160 rebate and I got 33's for $193 each :)

Place on the corner of Orangethorpe and Placentia Ave that charges $5 to mount, $5 to balance and $5 to dismount. Cheapest I have found. I just had 4 31's mounted and balanced for $40.

Cool. Just got a free tire to use as a spare and I need to get it mounted. I'm close to Orangethorpe and Placentia, so I'll go there in the morning. Thanks.

I bought a Harbor Freight tire machine a few years ago ($39!) and it has more than paid for itself many times over!
Just this last weekend, I dismounted 9 tires and remounted 5.....then went and had them balanced.
Saved about $80 and got a workout too :D

I have one too.

It works 'ok' on some rims but really scratches the crap out of alloys or rims you like (black ones too).

Yeah, that is the only downside.
Luckily(?) all of my rims are scratched (and gouged) to hell from offroading so, no big deal but, I took my hand grinder and smoothed out (almost polished) the end of the tire prying bar and with a little spray lube, it really seemd to cut down on the sratching a lot.
