Brian bent up some tube for me today, turned out pretty good!

Obviously there is one on the other side as well. I'm extremely happy with the results, Brian did a great job with the bends and welds.

cool man i have done something similar to mine - i will post up my tube fenders when they are done in the next few days - looks good! hrew or dom?

Looks good! I like it. Didja get the bumper tied in better before you did that.....I hope?

Nope, didn't get the tie-ins in yet. I'll still be able to, ARB uses shims on both sides to get the bumper squared up. I'll just remove the bolts, pull out the shims and slide the tie-ins in their place.

I honestly don't remember, I think it is 1.75" DOM. Hopefully Brian will post up later.

YUP, DOM, Thanks for the props, I like the way they turned out too.

so does that mean that the process done to the tubing make it stronger then another type? it seems like DOM tubing is more commonly used

Didja read the link? It makes it a little stronger, but it is a toss up pretty much if DOM is better than HREW.

Just don't use pipe :D

got mine done last night pics soon - i have done mine similar to your but i have no sheet metal upfront... then it is on to the rears... i am going to run off my slider, curve wheelwell and i cut my rear like a comp cut and follow that line and tie it into rear bumper... i think the front tube fender is the best protection b/c i seem to always crunch my front fenders more than my rears...again nice work

Unfortunately, mine was a classic case of locking the barn door after the horse got out :banghead: :

Yup. My front fenders (P/S especially) were already tweaked, but I didn't want to bash them in more.

I'd like to do this as well, but I need to cut the bottom 1/4 panel first. Probably a spring/summer project if the money comes around.

right on... i will be by the shop and post some pics up tonight... i am also stretching the rear 4 inches and then getting on to the rear tube work so i should have all that done i nthe next 3 weeks...
