Not only REI but tons of other companies too.

Sure about that one? Specifically new Belgium brewery? I know there were a lot of companies added to a "list" supporting SUWA (or whatever that damn group is) and yet were never asked permission for their names to be used or that their stance was correctly being represented. I could be wrong but I thought NBB was one of the companies who was listed falsely. Be sure you read into each company. Some were contacted about it and had no idea WTF anyone was talking about. I know the list is on the internet, but that doesn't mean is has to be trueBurton snowboards, new Belgium brewery .

I read through the list. Did you verify that they ARE NOT supposed to be on the list? It works both ways.
Figured this was too good a' topic to leave it in the back ground of a different thread.
I know REI for sure, Someone said New Belgium Brewing Co? That would make sense but only because I'm a biker too, and I know why bikers would want to close OHV trails. Burton Snowboards was also mentioned. I could be ignorant to some list that would be easier to pull and post from somewhere but I wouldn't know what to actually punch into my browser.
This is however a very important factor in the longevity of our hobby/sport/recreational activity and for future generations of'rs and off roaders alike. We like our toys, and projects like Stay the Trail help to aid this as well. Volunteer work is a priceless necessity. I'll be helping out when and where I can.
pretty sure CA has the most breweries out of all the states. Hell, we have about 40 in this county alone.I'm not attempting to "Bash" on any businesses here. However it's the Michael Jackson syndrome, if enough things are said about you for long enough by the majority of folks. It's probably true. All I'm saying is there are better more local ways to procure brands like Merrell, Keen, Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, Big Agnes, The Northface, Arcteryx, MSR, GSI, Black Diamond, etc. I do know for a fact however that REI does support this, and they're a national corporation. Most (if not all) REI brand items are made in Mexico or a Middle Eastern/Asian country.

As far as New Belgium Brewing; Well gentlemen, let's face it. We have a LOT of breweries here in Colorado, more than any other state. If there's a chance that drinking NBB's product will help close trails, I'll just stay away from it. To be honest IMO there's a lot of better options for local brew anyway. Plus, they took the Cherry out of the summer Folly Pack. Need I remind you; you could never buy it in a 6 pack.
Breckenridge Brewery, Odell, Left Hand, Great Divide, Avery, Wynkoop, to name A FEW..
Personal favorites from each; Breckenridge's Vanilla Porter, Odell's IPA, Left Hand's Milk Stout, Great Divide's Titan IPA or Claymore Scotch Ale, or the Hercules double IPA, or YETI Imperial Stout. I dig Great Divide's beer. Avery's white rascal is a great wheat beer...
idk.
That's funny. One of the listed companies is Chalk Bag Specialists. The people that taught me to rock climb would cut your rope if you used chalk. You don't mark the rock, evah!
That's dumb.
